My First and Only PC!

Today I was looking at some old pictures taken over the past couple of years. They’re so reminiscent of my adolescence. And this particular pic I took back in 2002, if my memory serves correctly, reveals what my first and only PC and the workstation looked like!

At the time of the purchase, it was no doubt a high end PC everyone would want to get their hands on and cost a bit of money too but 6 years on, it is now so old, slow, inefficient that it will crash and freeze whenever it wants to. But I’m still using it and have no immediate plan to replace it in the near future either.

But yeah I know that at one point it will have to go. In fact, the monitor has been replaced by a flat LCD screen, with keyboard, mouse and speakers all long gone in favour of nicer and better replacements. And contrary to what you see in this picture, I no longer play computer games - I’ve given them up ages ago thankfully.

When they say one picture speaks a thousand words, you just know it’s so bloody true. What about you? What do you do to reminisce about your happy old days?

    Hey, I just came by and read some of ur work here. Your Eng is so great.
    Now, I’m still in China and I will go back to Thailand around July 15. See u there.

    Didn’t talk with u for a long time, what the fuck r u doing?

    I know my Eng is so bad right now. Shit!, talking in Chinese is easier now.

    Glad to hear you’re doing fine in China & speak the language well too.
    And there’s nothing wrong with your English man - you already speak better than most Thais!

    Didn’t I tell you I quit uni to work full time now? Really enjoying it though :)
    OK, let me know when you get back and we’ll meet for a beer and a chat!
